Traditional learning is a teaching method where the instructor is
the primary authority, responsible for transmitting knowledge, while
students assume the passive role of listeners. In this approach,
knowledge flows unidirectionally from the instructor to the students,
with little active involvement from the latter in the learning process. As
a result, students often fail to actively engage in the educational
experience, and the retention of learned material is not guaranteed.
Consequently, new teaching methods and techniques have been
developed to encourage greater student participation in the learning
process and to enhance the long-term retention of acquired knowledge.
